Travelling, waiting, birthday gift and Japan

So, I left DK yesterday at 10 am, saying goodbye to the family, Keon, Marie, Anja, and one of my parents friends who works at the airport.
Everything went really smoothly, and I got on board safely.
2 Hours later, I was in Heathrow Airport, waiting at the gate, when this young japanase guy came over and we talked for a little while, his name is Nori, and he's DJ'ing in Tokyo soon, so he invited me to come party at Club Wire, and to bring my friends.

The flight to Japan was nice, good service, nice people, and I had a window seat and the seat next to me (between me and the isle) all to myself (yay for me!) The seat however was designed poorly, so even though I sat pretty good, it was impossible to sleep in it ;_; the neck rest was just a nightmare and pushed my head forward >_>'''
I saw a few movies on the plane:
27 Dresses
Jumper
Spiderwick
Hitman (well duh! You didn't think I'd miss the Olyphant did you?!)
And then I spaced out to Top Gear eps 4, and some progrm about an english transvestite compeeding in a big pageant in Thailand (of course)
So, all in all I slept for about 2 hours.
The plane landed 50 minutes ahead of schedule, so I just went to the Glass Tower where I was to wait for Sascha and Louise, but not before I bumped into Nori who got my email adress.

Sascha and Louise came aprox. 2 hours after and we catched a bus to the city (60 km away)
Then after getting off at The Metropolitan Hotel in Ikebukuro we wandered around with our luggage trying to find the hotel. 3 very helpful people ater, we arrived at our first home (we're moving on after the 12th of july, to a new Sakura Hotel)
I haven't taken pictures of my room yet, but it's great, and I will, so you can see.

We then slept for 3 hours, got up around 6 pm and went out, originally because we wanted something to eat, but we ended up shopping too, I bought a pair of extremely cute earrings for myself as present and also got a couple of magazines, Fran candy (like Pocky, but better) something to drink later and the most coveted of hairsprays VO5.
We ate at tis cozy restaurant in the basement of some building, and through stuttering japanese, english and alot of "Nan demo nai" we ordered our food. The waiter was very helpful and chose for us as we couldn't read the menu (great to end up at one of the places that does NOT have pictures of the dishes on the menu >_< )
A few pictures taken with Sascha's cam:

Louise and Sascha beside one of the entrances to Ikebukuro St.

At the restaurant this picture hang above our able XD

So yeah, now we're hanging out in Sascha and Louise's room, listening to music and reading magazines.

I'm loving it here. There's so much to see, to experience!!

Love you all.
